									Muñoz Gamero MAIN SQUARE
In front of our hotel, you are already in the main square of the city and the center of its urban development. In it, the Monument to Hernando de Magallanes stands out, in which you can fulfill the popular omen that predicts that anyone who rubs the finger of the Patagonian Indian will return to Patagonia.
 
									Seafront of the Strait
Unmissable 3-kilometer trail, bordering the Strait of Magellan. You will be able to take long walks enjoying the wind, the infinite sky and the best views of the Strait and Tierra del Fuego Island to be photographed.
 
									Cemetery
Listed as one of the most beautiful in the world and declared a Historic Monument in 2012. In it you will find fascinating mausoleums of the founding immigrant families of the city and you can walk its avenues adorned by perfectly pruned cypresses.
 
									Sheepherder Monument
The Monument of the Sheepherder is a classic of the city. It honors the Patagonian field worker, his sheep, his horse and his faithful dogs.
 
									Cerro de la Cruz Viewpoint
The best panoramic view of the city. From here you will be able to appreciate the beautiful colored roofs, the Strait of Magellan, the Island of Tierra del Fuego and, if the weather allows it, Mount Sarmiento which borders the Darwin Mountain Range and Argentina.
 
									Andean Club
Located close to the city, in this winter center you will find one of the few ski slopes in the world with views of the sea and an incredible panoramic view of the city and its surroundings.
 
									Recommended Museums
Braun Menéndez Palace Regional Museum: This old
mansion built in 1903, currently a Historical Monument,
exhibits original furniture from the time and history of
the Austral territory.
Sara Braun Palace: With great architectural value, it was
declared a Historic Monument in 1981. Inside it reflects
the golden age of Magellan.
Salesian Museum: In it you will find unique collections
of ethnography, history, flora, and fauna from the entire
Patagonian territory.
Nao Victoria: Open-air museum with original-size
replicas of important ships that made history in the
Strait of Magellan.
 
									Roca Kiosk
Famous hidden-gem of Punta Arenas. Join the Magellanic traditions and try their classic chorizo sandwich with a banana milk and thus you will gain strength and heat to continue your journey.
Day trips
 
									Magellan Strait Park - Fort Bulnes
50 km from our hotel, you can visit one of the most beautiful, recreational and historical walks in the region. It has many trails and natural viewpoints as well as the replica of what was Fort Bulnes, the first Chilean settlement in the region.
 
									Magdalena Island
Leaving Punta Arenas, after two hours of a beautiful navigation, you will arrive at the Isla Magdalena Natural Monument, a sanctuary for Magellanic penguins. Walking along the paths of the island you will enjoy the observation of up to 70,000 penguins in their natural habitat; you will see them walking, building their nests, talking, taking care of their young, bathing and you will see how you fall in love with the friendliness of each one of them.
 
									Magallanes National Reserve
8 kilometers from the city center, visit this natural reserve that introduces you to a Patagonian forest full of Lengas, Coigues, Ñirres and native flora. Also in its trails you can see local fauna such as juarjual duck, white owl and culpeo fox.
 
									King Penguin 
Tierra del Fuego
														Visiting Tierra del Fuego, you can live the unique experience of meeting the King Penguin. It is the second largest penguin species in the world, reaching a size of up to 70 centimeters; however, its majesty is not only due to its size but also to the elegance of its movements, its yellow scarf and its trumpet-shaped singing.
 
									San Isidro Lighthouse
Beautiful trekking that begins where the American continent ends. The walk is along 4 kilometers of forest and beach; finally, it arrives at the San Isidro Lighthouse, located at the southern tip of the Brunswick Peninsula.
 
									Cape Froward
After a beautiful navigation through the Strait of Magellan, we reach the southernmost point of the American continent. Through a 1.5 hour trek you ascend to the Cruz de los Mares, a privileged view of the iconic interoceanic passage and the islands that surround it.
 
									Pali Aike Park
Pali-Aike is located 196 km from Punta Arenas. You will visit an immense “lunar landscape”, volcanic cones, abundant craters, giant lava fields and volcanic caves where the Pali Aike Cave stands out, declared a National Monument and where evidence of one of the oldest settlements of Magallanes has been found
 
									Tarn Mount
Tarn Mount, 830 meters high, can be accessed through a path where you can get the most spectacular views of the Patagonian environment. It is located 70 km south of Punta Arenas and near Fuerte Bulnes and San Isidro Lighthouse.
 
									Whale Watching
Just 40 minutes south of Punta Arenas you can see the most beautiful cetacean dance in our seas: Humpback Whales, Cormorants, Skuas, Petrels, Albatross, Sea Lions, Elephant Seals and even groups of Orcas
 
									Dolphin Watching
During a navigation through the Strait of Magellan, you can take a contemplation tour where it is possible to observe southern dolphins, waterfowl and large forests of algae.
 
									Condor sighting
